Dr. Phillip Myatt, MD FACC

Dr. Phillip Myatt, a native to Waco, graduated as the 1998 class salutatorian from Waco High School. In 2002 he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Baylor University.

He received his Doctor of Medicine in 2006 from Texas Tech School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas HSC at San Antonio in 2009.

He went on to UTMB Galveston and The Methodist Hospital Houston where he received his training in cardiology. He finished his specialty training at Scott and White in interventional cardiology.

Dr. Myatt has cared for patients in Waco since 2009 with the McLennan County Hospitalist Services and through the Veterans Administration. He enjoys college athletics, the outdoors, golf, and he loves every second spent with his wonderful wife, Laura, their son Colton, and their daughter Charlotte.

He and his family are members of First Baptist Church of Waco. Dr. Myatt has chosen to return to Waco to give back to the community he loves.
