Dr. Daniel Jipescu

Dr. Daniel Jipescu

Dr. Daniel Jipescu recently joined Waco Heart and Vascular. He likes to go by Dr. Daniel. After relocating from Eastern Europe more than two decades ago he attended Medical School in Long Island, NY to pursue his dream of becoming an Interventional Cardiologist.

During medical school he was thoroughly involved with the New York chapter of American College of Physicians and was the medical student representative on the Council Board for a few years. There he learned about the importance of advocacy for patients, health care policies and participated in multiple local and national conferences. After meeting many friendly people in Texas during his search for the best training place and falling in love with the idea of living here he moved to DFW with his family. He was very fortunate to find here amazing supporting mentors and a great hospital staff. Everyone around him also found Dr. Daniel to be a very kind and passionate person about his patients. His colleagues and the hospital staff awarded him the “Dr. Jeremy Gaspar Humanitarian ward” not only once but in two separate years. Dr. Daniel took his training to the highest levels being involved in learning from multiple leaders in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure, Kidney and Heart transplant. He was very happy to be given the opportunity to be involved with and learn from the ECMO team from Medical City Health Care.

In his spare time Dr. Daniel likes to spend time with his wife and his daughter, learn about new developing technologies and participate in medical conferences.
